What I Believe
We live in an age where people will believe anything, and deny that there is anything to believe. With that said, I present this to all that read, that it may be known what I believe.
I believe in One God, the God of Adam, Eve, Abel, Seth, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Aaron, Joshua, the judges, David, Solomon, the kings of Israel, the prophets, John the baptist, the apostles, the saints, you, and me, and everyone else who has ever lived or died or ever will live or die.
I believe that the One true God is Triune, revealed in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. I believe all Three Persons of the Godhead are One God with Three distinct Persons, all independently and dependently existent at all times for one good.
I believe God is good.
I believe that the Father is fully God
I believe that the Son, Jesus Christ, Joshua Messiah, is fully God.
I believe that the Holy Spirit, the Comforter, is fully God.
I believe that God is all knowing.
I believe that God is all powerful.
I believe that God is in all places at all times.
I believe that God is separate from all things, creator of all things, and sustainer of all things, knowing every sparrow that falls or takes flight, every hair on every head, every cell in every limb, every molecule in every atom, and every thought in every heart.
I believe that God is the same yesterday, today, and forevermore.
I believe that God has always been and always will be.
I believe God created all and was not created.
I believe God is love.
I believe God is power.
I believe God is truth.
I believe God is just.
I believe God is no one less and nothing less than God
I believe that God created all life, all matter, and all existence.
I believe God created all things perfectly, without wrong or defect.
I believe that God created all existence in six literal days, and on the seventh He rested, not because He needed rest, for He did not need six days, but could have created in seven days, or one, or instantly, or in a thousand years, but created in six days and only six days to set order, and rested on the seventh, to establish a day of rest, for rest is good, because God rested on the seventh day.
I believe God alone created all of the universe, all stars, all planets, all satellites, and all life.
I believe God created the Heavens, the earth, the waters, and the dry land.
I believe that God created all plants, all animals, all angels, and all of mankind.
I believe that God created man in His own image, male and female, from the dust of the ground, from the soil of His land, a specific land, because it is the land He made us from, and it is the land we were made from, because it is the land He would give His people to sustain.
I believe that God created all angels as messengers and warriors and worshippers and all other kinds of celestial servants of God, fearful and mighty, powerful and beautiful, all created serving Him alone, though some betrayed their God, because the one who would be called Satan, the one who would be called the Dragon, the one who would become the enemy of God, thought himself to be a god. But he never was and never will be, for He was created by God, and was defeated by God, and will be defeated by God, and will be judged and punished by God, because he is not God.
I believe God created all animals, putting them under man's care. I believe God created all kinds of all animals as they were originally intended, not as some imperfect being needing to transform into another to attain sustainability. I believe that God created animals to simply be, and live, and be enjoyed by man and God, without need of fearing to survive, and all were created fit for the purpose God created them.
I believe God created all plants under the care of man, giving all fruits and all vegetables and all nuts and all good tasting roots and all that are good to eat of all plants as food for all mankind and all animals. I believe that only the fruit of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil was the only exception, that God commanded Man not to eat of it, because in so doing, it would bring about death. For I believe disobedience is death.
I believe God created all land as one continent, without need for rain, for the dew watered the ground.
I believe God placed the land where He placed it in relation to the Earth, where He placed it in relation to the Moon, where he placed it in relation to all planets, in relation to all solar systems, in relation to all galaxies, in relation to all dimensions, in relation to all of time and existence, setting the seasons in order, the earth's axis and rotation in order, the earth's distance from its Sun in order, and all things in perfect order.
I believe God created all mankind and all animals as male and female and only male and female.
I believe God made mankind to reproduce and fill the earth.
I believe that God made Man as Adam, and from Adam came Eve, and from Eve came all of the sons and daughters of humanity.
I believe we were born to love God.
I believe God never made us to hate, to be sick, to be wounded, to be hurt, or to die.
I believe God created all life, all angels, and all existence in perfect order, in perfect love, for His perfect praise
I believe we were made to love Him, not as unthinking things, but as a natural response to all that He made us and all that He had given us.
I believe we were made to be loved.
I believe that God gave us a land, which He called Eden.
I believe that God made Eden for Mankind, and Mankind for Eden. I believe that this land exists to this day, and will forever exist, because God sustains His people who sustain His land, and sustains His land that sustains His people, because all thing are sustained by, because God is eternal.
I believe God is a precise God.
I believe God is an unchanging God.
I believe God is God.
I believe God walked and spoke to Man through the Son, Christ, speaking to Adam and Eve, in Eden.
I believe that all creation was perfectly made.
I believe that Adam and Eve were the first to sin.
I believe that they ate of the fruit of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, which brought about death, for I believe that the tree changed our thinking, bringing rebellion against God, which brought about fear, which brought about corruption, which brought about the need for covering, which brought about the need for sacrifice, which brought about death, which brought about disease, and more fear, and hate, shame, anger, sorrow, death, and above all, a barrier which Adam or Eve or you or I or any other mere human could never remove.
I believe that God knew from before He created all things perfect, that we would corrupt all things.
I believe that mankind has no one else to blame but itself.
I believe that God is holy.
I believe that God is just.
I believe that God cannot allow sin to go unpunished.
I believe that God is love.
I believe that God does not live inside time, or that He is somehow confined by time, but that time is a creation of His, impacted by Him, sustained by Him, and all in all a creation of Him.
I believe that before all was, Christ was who He would become.
I believe that Jesus became man, before the creation of all, outside of time, at a specifc moment in time, the most important moment in time, fully God and fully man, perfect, just, true, and loving.
I believe that Jesus, alone in the Godhead, is fully God and fully man.
I believe that Jesus came to Earth to die.
I believe we were born to be loved.
I believe that God alone sustained His bloodline.
I believe that God would send floods, slaveries, prosperities, captivities, dispersions, reconciliations, and all things that would happen to His people to sustain, and judge, and purify his people. I believe He sustains those who were given His land, and sustains His land that sustains His people. I believe that before the world was made, God gave His people a specific land. I believe that God created Adam, who would be followed by Noah, followed by Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, who God Himself named Israel. And from Israel God gave twelve sons, who would become twelve tribes, who would become the Great Nation, who from one of the tribes would come a bloodline, who would result in Jesus, the Messiah, fully God and fully Man.
I believe that God made a promise to Abraham, which was a fulfillment of the promise to all those before him and all those after him. I believe that God alone made His promise, kept His promise, and participated in His promise, despite any rebellion or lack of faith. I believe that God promised a specific land, and a specific Person.
I believe that God promised Eden, and that Eden is Israel.
I believe that God promised Himself, in the Person of Jesus Christ.
I believe that God alone promised, to the people He chose alone, and would keep His promise until the end of time. I believe that God is never self-contradicting, dishonest, or exaggerating in His word.
I believe that God sent a flood that destroyed all life, to preserve His people, a literal flood that literally destroyed all life but His people and any life that was gathered to His people. I believe that one male and one female of all animals, birds, beasts, insects, and of all types of all animals.
I believe that God brought His people out of Egypt, and brought judgement against their oppressors. I believe He brought them through the Red Sea, parting it to reveal dry ground, not through the north of the Red Sea or to the South, not through shallow waters, but through the heart of the Red Sea, parted by Almighty God.
I believe He brought them through the Jordan as he brought them through the Red Sea, and brought down their enemies because God sustains His people who sustain His land, and sustains His land that sustains His people, for all things are sustained by God, and God never changes His word.
I believe that God sent His prophets, who foretold His coming, but the people would not believe.
I believe that God sent John, the one who baptised with water, but the people would not believe.
I believe that God sent Himself, through the Son, Jesus, of the Triune God, but the people would not believe.
I believe that God sent Jesus, fully God and fully Man, born outside of time, yet born in a time God foretold, in a land God foretold, in a town God foretold, the least of towns from the least of nations from the least of peoples, from a people and tribe and ancestry God foretold and sustained, in an hour where no one expected, no matter how many prophecies were given or how many prophets were martyred before Him.
I believe every miracle Jesus committed and every word Jesus spoke.
I believe God gave us the law, and I believe it the standard to show God's perfect nature. I believe to disobey it is to invite death. I believe under the sin of Adam, all of mankind is incapable of keeping the law. I believe sin is death. I believe the Gift of God is life.
I believe that God sent His Son, His only Son, Jesus to die, to satisfy the righteous nature of God, to undue all of the wrong we committed, to save all saints that came before Him.
I believe that Jesus, who was tempted with sin, knew no sin, and was crucified on a cross between two thieves, became sin for all sinners. I believe that Jesus died for all saints, both those who came before His death and those who came after it.
I believe that it is because of His death that anyone who would believe and put their trust in Him can be called "saint".
I believe that three days and three nights after Jesus laid in the earth, with His flesh dead, I believe that He rose again from the dead.
I believe that Jesus rose from the dead in body and spirit.
I believe He appeared to His followers, not once, but multiple times.
I believe that fourty days after He rose from the dead, He rose to Heaven, where He promised to return.
I believe that without God, we are not dying, not damaged, and not capable of reaching out to God even for the salvation He offers, but dead, completely broken, and thus, completely incapable of even understanding the truth of God's free gift which stares mankind squarely in the face.
I believe that one can only believe God grants the ability to believe, for one cannot see without eyes, or hear without ears, or understand without a mind, or feel without a heart, or live without life.
I believe that salvation is so simple to receive, so perfect in its scope, and so irresistible in its draw, that once God grants the ability to receive, one must accept, as freely and willingly as mankind is capable of.
I believe that those God calls, He saves, and those He saves, He changes, and those He changes cannot be the same again.
I believe that though we may sin even after He saves us, we have a way of escape, which something no one without Christ ever has available. I believe that without Christ, one is a slave to evil, but with Christ, one is capable of good, for it is not the person, but Christ inside the person.
I believe that the Holy Spirit, the Comforter, of the Triune Godhead, is fully God, always having been, always being, and will be forever. I believe in His is power. I believe not all gifts are given to all those who are God's, but all those who are God's are given gifts freely, as the Spirit wills.
I believe that the Spirit is a Person of the Triune God, and a distinct Person.
I believe that the same Spirit who worked miracles can work miracle today, and will do miracles, until the day of the end of His time in Jesus' absence on earth.
I believe that the Spirit gave the writers of the Word the words they would write, despite the number of authors, or distances of time and space.
I believe that the Spirit guided the words of The Word, the Book, The Bible, perfectly, for He is perfect.
I believe the Bible is the genesis of all knowledge and all truth, whether historical, prophetic, scientific, philosophic, dramatic, or any other knowledge.
I believe the Bible is the Word of God, and Jesus is the Word, and the Book that is the Bible is the express revelation of God.
I believe that not one word from Genesis to Revelation shall fall away, because it is not a mere book, but is the Word of God.
I believe that this Book is for times written and for today, and until the end.
I believe that God will sustain His people, both the people of Israel, and the people who follow Christ in any nation.
I believe that God has promised all those adopted into His family wondrous promises, in times of prosperity, persecution, rejection, depression, lovelessness, joy, and all other times.
I believe that these are new promises, established with a new covenant, given by the Second Adam, Jesus, Christ, Of God.
I believe that God has not abandoned those who are His people, who He gave Eden, which is Israel, who are the Israelites, the Jews, sustaining the covenant of old, which He alone sustains, dispersing and regathering as He has done, and He will do what He will do.
I believe that as some of the people of Israel have already believed, and there will come a day when all of the Nation will believe.
I believe that the Jew is not greater than the Gentile, nor the Gentile over the Jew, but all stand before God.
I believe God is God, yesterday, today, and forevermore.
I believe God does not contradict Himself, or His words, or His promises.
I believe that God hates hypocrisy.
I believe that God loves all.
I believe that God has commanded us to love all. I believe that God has commanded us to preach to all. I believe that God has commanded us to make disciples of all.
I believe that God is not a respecter of person, or politics, or style, or anything else we may become so engrossed in.
I believe that those who believe are the Church. I believe the Church is the Body of Christ. I believe the Church is the Bride of Christ. I believe the Church is Christ's, under His protection.
I believe that Jesus loves the church.
I believe that we were born to be loved.
I believe the world is ending.
I believe the accuracy of the Jewish calendar.
I believe the universe is not an eternal existence but under the corruption that Christ sought to undue.
I believe that just as Christ has restored many people in this age, He will restore the Earth in a future age.
I believe that Jesus will come to Earth again, not gentle as He did the first time, but as fearful and powerful.
I believe Jesus will take us in rapture instantly to Him one day, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye. I believe no one has known or ever will know when the moment of rapture will come, until it comes.
I believe there will follow seven years, seven literal years, three and one half of prosperity, and three and one half of destruction.
I believe the world will unite under one man, the Antichrist, to rule one government, through one apostate religion, all united against God.
I believe at the end Jesus will return, with the angels, and those who were raptured, in triumph, establishing His Kingdom, ruling for one thousand years.
I believe that at the beginning of this reign, Satan, the inspiration of the Antichrist, will be imprisoned, but at the end of Christ's reign, will release Satan. I believe the final battle will commence, whose outcome is already known, and Satan will finally and permanently be defeated, and all who believe will be with Him forever.
I believe in God.
Amen.
